Welcome to Stay Wild a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom lower-level retreat tucked into the lush hills of Upper Coomera. Whether you’re heading to the beach, a Mount Tamborine wedding, or the theme parks with the kids, this is your peaceful launchpad between it all. And yes, you get the entire lower level of the home to yourself, with a private entrance and all the space you could want. The friendly owner lives upstairs but you’ll barely know they’re there unless the goats beat them to saying hello.

  • Laundry in shared foyer is yours to use (owner may briefly pass through to access pump room)

  • Parking for 2+ cars – let us know if you need more

  • Linen provided – no need to bring sheets or towels

  • Well-behaved pets welcome (on approval + small fee)

  • Unfenced acreage – perfect for exploring, just keep an eye on little ones

  • Security camera at front entrance for your safety (faces driveway only)

  • Wildlife around – you’re in nature, so keep doors closed to avoid unexpected visitors (goannas, koalas, snakes)

You’ll have access to both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools, as well as one private parking space.

Please note: There is carpet under the dining area, so extra care is appreciated—especially with little ones.

Before you arrive you will be required to:
1. Complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Three bedroom two storey home located in the One Mile Ridge gated estate at Boat Harbour, Port Stephens.

One Mile Retreat is an exclusive, secluded, luxurious Beach House set high on the peak of One Mile Ridge. The property overlooks and has direct access to One Mile Beach, one of the most spectacular patrolled surf beaches on the coast of New South Wales. From the deck are uninterrupted 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean sweeping around to Tomaree National Park. If you do not make it to the beach, enjoy the breathtaking views from the heated Infinity pool and spa.

A three bedroom two storey home located in the One Mile Ridge gated estate at Boat Harbour, Port Stephens. One Mile Retreat is surrounded by Tomaree National Park and has spectacular views over One Mile and Samurai beaches.

Stroll to the patrolled One Mile Beach for a morning surf via the short bush track leading to the beach. Relax in the sensational infinity pool and spa (shared) located just a minute’s walk from the beach house.

Enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine on the balcony at the end of the day and be transfixed by the view.

The Space:

The house has been cleverly designed to maximise all the advantages of it’s elevated site, with floor to ceiling windows to celebrate the views.

The interior is relaxed and flows over two levels, each with its own bathrooms and living spaces, making the property ideal for an upstairs-downstairs spread between kids and adults.

You can all join together around the dining table on the second level for family meals prepared on the huge marble benches in the kitchen.

The three wonderful bedrooms are beautifully set with colourful fabrics and fine bed linens. Fluffy Egyptian cotton towels complete the bathrooms.

Just a few kilometres to Anna Bay shops and Birubi Beach and Stockton Sand dunes.

Fabulous walking through national park tracks, headlands and bays. Salamander Bay shopping centre is just a 7 minute drive away. Nelson Bay is the main shopping hub and Marina of Port Stephens, just a 10 minute drive.

We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.
Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit ($500 plus non refundable admin fee of $15) or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. ($50 plus admin fee). We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

THINGS TO NOTE:

Our house can accommodate up to 7 people with a maximum of 6 adults.

Please note that for the comfort of all guests and neighbours, we have installed a ‘Minut’ noise monitoring device in the home, which helps us maintain a peaceful environment by alerting us to noise levels, guest count, and cigarette smoke. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of our quiet hours and house rules.
